Sephora mini-haul

I made it back on time to use my Sephora Chic Week 15% special and I also had my MAC Fashion sets order waiting for me.

Ablaze did not look good on me so i returned it. I paired Heroine with Nightmoth liner and got a lot of compliments while at the mall and at Sephora today. Ignore my vampire tooth(that's what my younger brother calls it)

Sephora:

A staple for me are the Sephora hair elastics I always get a pack whenever there's a sale/special/discount. I had to return the NARS light reflecting loose powder because I took pics in it with flash and it looked like a patch of white paint where i applied it. I got NARS Albatross because Ive heard so much about it. Same with the Shiseido facial cotton(used it tonight it's truly awesome!!) and the Anastasia brow wiz. 

Now let's talk about this brand called Obesessive Compulsive Cosmetics(OCC). I was trying to find what to buy so I could become V.I.B and i discovered this brand. The plan was to get the Lip Tar in Pretty Boy then I saw that Hoochie would go well with MAC Heroine lipstick so I got that and the Clear because I dont have a clear gloss. 

Here are lip swatches. This would be helpful for those wanting to see them on black/dark skin tones.

UK and Ireland

I got back from vacation last night. I went to Dublin mainly to visit the Guinness Storehouse then i spent 2 days in London with my friend from HS. I was able to check out the stores and brands we dont have here in the States like Dorothy Dandridge, Harrods, Boots, Sleek cosmetics, Barry M etc. I didnt see anything I needed to have and couldnt get here in the states. I was able to find authentic sausage rolls, scotch eggs and other food items I was raised on in Nigeria in London. I also had amazing Fish n Chips at a bar in Temple Bar.
The highlights of my trip were the Guinness storehouse, Malahide Castle, Harrods and the British Museum!! The next time, I plan to stay in London and spend more time visiting more sites. Here are the pics for London and Dublin.

Another F21 Haul

I waited to receive my items before posting in case I needed to exchange. I used a 10% off coupon from retailmenot.com so the items were final sale(no exchange or store credit).

This is my favorite piece from this order. I ordered a small and was worried it might be too small but it's perfect!!

I plan to wear this bandeau over a bra to wear with some of my see through tops.

I ordered this in small(its a Love 21 item) and i cant wait to wear it to work!!

I wore this to work today and got a lot of compliments from co-workers, clients and then when i got to the mall, got MORE compliments.

The item to the left is a casual coral dress that's not on the website. It was $9.80!!! The yellow shorts are HERE. they run big so i got an x-small. I dont see the tribal denim pants and destroyed jeans on the site.

F21 - Work Clothes

Pencil Skirt

I wore this top today and got a lot of compliments. It does not come with the belt and I didnt wear it with a belt. I paired with black slacks and heels.

I love this top. I can't wait for it to get a little warmer(maybe Monday it's going to be 72 deg)

I wanted a pair of skinny pants. These are cropped even though they dont look it on the model(27" inseam). I bought the black pair not the color pictured below. The picture of the black on their site makes it look like casual pants:

I wanted the coral color but it's not available in Small. 

Health and Fitness

I have gained a little bit of weight and although, I love that some of it went to my butt, I hate that some went to my stomach. I HATE it. I have belly shirts and bikinis I need to wear this summer!! I have NEVER ever been a healthy person diet and fitness wise and I figured I need to get on it. It seems like my metabolism is catching up with me and im sad but i need to be proactive.

I dont really know where to start so Ill use my blog as a journal/guide.

Goals:
Get flat stomach(i dont need visible abs or a 6 pack just want it flat like it used to be a few months ago!!)
Get a bigger butt(just a little bit more)

Plan:
Start counting calories using the myfitnesspal app
Start doing squats, lunges and side stretches

So far, what Ive noticed is that i don't eat enough calories. My goal on MFP is to eat 1300 per day(to maintain my weight = 122lbs/5'4") and since I started logging, Ive eaten less than 1000 calories. I need to find something I can add at night to increase it. 

As far as the work outs, my thighs hurt A LOT. I only started the squats on Sunday and I could barely walk yesterday. Im taking a break today. I hope my body gets used to it later.

I'm excited to see my progress ... or lack of. LOL
